Al menos lo cuenta asi Avril Lavigne en la cancion "Skater Boy". Diferentes en muchas cosas, pero unidos en una... Se querian.
Cuando llega la hora de la verdad, lo rechaza, pues sus amigas estan delante... Pero cinco años despues, cuando la joven ve que a triunfado y ella no se ha olvidado de el, y sus amigas lo adoran... Es demasiado tarde.
